Nash got her start in children’s television as the Associate Producer of the Bozo the Clown Show on WGBS TV in Philadelphia. Aside from her producing duties, Suzi was seen on air as “The Ringmaster”.
Nash is a weekly Columnist for the Philadelphia Gay News, one of the nations largest LGBT newspapers and on Thursdays she hosts the popular “Twisted Karaoke” voted #1 Karaoke in the Tri-state area. In addition Nash has been a judge and programmer for Qfest (formerly the Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival) for 9 years.
Nash is the former co-owner of Vortex Vision Visual Productions and GBV Productions. A Jill of all trades, she has also released an album of children’s songs called Rainbow Sprinkles for children of non-traditional families. Her award winning short film, “Uncle Mike” based on one of the songs from the CD, has played in film festivals both in the USA and Internationally. Suzi has been named one of Visions magazines “Ten Artists to Watch” and is a Leeway Transformation Grant recipient. This March she was proud to be honored for her life long activism by the DVLF Wonder Women committee. As the agnostic voice on the board, Nash is honored to bring her skepticism and desire for tolerance to IDK and its mission of inclusion.
