Alyssa Mutryn has 10 years of experience working with nonprofit and government organizations in the areas of fundraising, corporate and foundation relations, administration, and policy development. She is currently the Director of Development for The Attic Youth Center, Philadelphia’s largest LGBTQ youth organization, where she has focused her work on raising funds to support the broad array of programs and services at The Attic . Prior to joining The Attic, Alyssa worked as an associate at Fairmount Ventures, Inc., where she provided counsel in the areas of resource development, communications, and strategic planning to a number of nonprofit organizations. Alyssa also worked as a consultant to Philadelphia’s Department of Human Services, where she worked with foster care providers and was part of a team that worked to create and implement a policy and guidelines for working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth in Philadelphia’s foster care and juvenile justice system. Alyssa has a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from Franklin and Marshall College and a Masters of Public Administration and Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
